This library is almost entirely poached from Doom Emacs. Taming various ill-behaved packages is not something I want to hack myself.

My changes

• Remove uses of Doom's libraries, e.g. defadvice!, after!, …
• Substitute +popup-«name» for doom-popup-«name».
• Prepend MIT license to each stolen file (as Doom is MIT-licensed).
